You can help! Show your support for safe, appropriate, and affordable housing for all Rhode Islanders. Tell your local officials you care about housing Ask your state senator and representative to support funding and initiatives that would establish desperately-needed affordable and safe homes through Rhode Island. Oppose detrimental changes in federal housing policy and cuts to housing and other low-income programs Contact your congressional representatives and tell them affordable housing is a voting issue for you. Ask them to vote against cutting funding for housing programs while giving tax cuts to the wealthy. Get involved with your hometown's efforts to create an adequate range of housing options. Contact your city or town hall or a council member to find out if there is a local affordable housing advisory taskforce. Lend your support to affordable housing projects that complement the character of your community and meet the needs of your neighbors.
